For your supreme viewing pleasure is this excellent early 1968 Ludwig Super Classic "Ringo" drum set in original Oyster Black Pearl. It has been very well cared for, and is a truly gorgeous set. There are no extra holes, and the bearing edges are original and true. All of the drums have original tension rods and washers. There was a miniscule flaw in the wrap at the seam under the bass hoop that was professionally addressed with a small rectangular piece of original wrap meticulously patched in. This area is at the edge of the drum completely covered by the head / hoop and will never be seen (see pic) - almost not even worth mentioning. There is a commonly seen small insignificant split in the inner ply of the bass drum that is merely cosmetic in nature, and does not affect the structural integrity of the drum in any way - almost not worth mentioning (see pic). Most importantly, they tune up wonderfully and are an absolute pleasure to play. This is a fantastic collector's clean Oyster Black Pearl Super Classic outfit in beautiful condition that would equally be right at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, or stages. Enjoy!
