Condition: Vintage
For your kind consideration is this intensely rare vintage 12" Victor J. La Page cymbal. These U.S. made, Turkish style cymbals are hard to find since they were only manufactured during the 30s and 40s in Buffalo, NY. This paper thin 12" cymbal is one of the earlier ones with the cymbal stamp, as opposed to the later crown stamp. It has a dark trashy breathy sound that activates with the lightest touch. When struck hard, the decay is super fast, almost restricted due to its ultra thin weight. This cymbal is going to shine in a lower volume setting. It has no cracks and just a couple very small flea bites. The edges are a bit uneven which is common in handmade cymbals from this time period and the edges are have some bend to them which is also very common and the hole is perfectly shaped with a small indention on one side. This is a super cool, ultra rare one that any studio or cymbal collector would be proud to have in their collection. Weighs in at 336 grams. Enjoy!
