For your supreme viewing and listening delight is this gorgeous 14" Spizzichino hi-hat cymbal pair. If you're looking at this listing then you've likely heard talk of the mythical Spizzichino cymbals, and we're excited to share these with you. Roberto Spizzichino was an Italian master cymbal maker and some would argue the most highly regarded cymbalsmith of the modern era. Enthusiasts of Spizzichino know that Roberto made very few hi-hats compared to other cymbals, making these a rare find. The wash and splash of these hats has a ton of personality and a warm chick created by a blend of overtones that could only be brought to life by a master like Roberto. Both cymbals are slightly undersized with the top measuring 13-13/16" and the bottom measuring 13-7/8". They each have a foundry stamp as well as an engraved signature and date of "Aprile 6 2002". They weigh in at 918 grams on top and 1164 grams on bottom. It was a joy getting to spend some time with these cymbals while making the video and we are honored to offer them to you now. Enjoy!
