For your prime viewing pleasure is this beautiful vintage Leedy 6.5x14 Reliance Model snare drum from early 40s. This seamless nickel over brass snare in excellent condition with minimal aging, with one small spot where the nickel plating has worn off as shown in the last photo on this otherwise well cared for shell. This 8-lug drum debuted in the 1941 catalog and this one is all original aside from the heads, wires, and a few replaced tension rod clips and has a classy old school vibe with a tone to match. The snare strainer functions smoothly and all of the clips holding the single flanged hoops are intact. It tunes up easily and is a joy to play. This would be a fantastic addition to any great vintage or studio collection. Enjoy!
