For your kind consideration is this vintage WFL 6.5x14 Supreme Concert snare drum from the late 1940s to mid-1950s. This snare is in great players condition and sounds fabulous with a full, woody tone that these 6-lug snares are known for. The 3-ply shell is in round and tunes up nicely with modern heads. The original finish has been sanded down so could be a great candidate to refinish or rewrap to match your set, or just enjoy its natural beauty. It has the original nickel over brass hoops which are in very good condition, as are the original lugs and rods. The original WFL P-83 strainer functions well, the butt plate was changed to a 1960s Ludwig one, and it is equipped with a great sounding set of Canopus wires. There are no other modifications or any extra holes. This is an awesome sounding snare that you're sure to enjoy in the studio or on stage. Enjoy!
