For your viewing pleasure is this awesome vintage Slingerland 14x24 single tension Artist Model bass drum from the early 1950s. It is built with Slingerland's legendary 3-ply mahogany interior shell and with the mahogany exterior. The finish has wear and rash as shown. The original nickel streamlined lugs, double grip claws, and tympani handle tension rods are all in great condition. It's sporting the 1950-53 brass & tan oval Chicago badge. It tunes up wonderfully, and produces the amazing sonic signature that can only be realized with a vintage Slingerland bass drum that has seasoned for well over 60 years. Enjoy!
