For your viewing pleasure is this vintage 14x22 Gretsch Broadkaster bass drum shell from the 50s. The is a 3-ply jasper round badge shell and it is in overall great condition. The bearing edges are original and clean and modern heads fit well. It is drilled for Rocket lugs and is date stamped APR 19 1950 inside the shell. This Name Band outfit drum is drilled for a diamond mount cymbal bracket and rail and there are two additional square holes. There are no other modifications. The seam is flat and tight and the wrap clean and has acquired some nice yellowed aging. Unlike some vintage Gretsch drums, Remo heads fit well. Most importantly, it sounds great! Enjoy!
