1950s Regency HF-50A Hi-Fi Audio Guitar Tube Amplifier
1950s Regency HF-50A Hi-Fi Audio Guitar Tube Amplifier
Condition: Vintage
For your kind consideration is this ultra rare vintage Regency HF-50A tube amplifier from the late 1950s. It is a great cosmetic condition without the original glass top and was pulled from a working environment. It has been stored in a climate controlled studio environment and, when last used, worked perfectly and sounded amazing. It no longer has any tubes installed and is being sold as-is. This was most recently used as a guitar amp and had Marshall-like tonal qualities. A 1/4" input was added on the front, an RCA jack on the back, and the terminal outputs currently connected to a 1/4" cable. We believe the rectifier tube has been bypassed to function without it. These heavy duty amps were said to be clones of the famed high-end Dynaco mkIII mono tube amplifiers with this HF-50A being the factory assembled version and the HF-50K being a DIY kit version. This could make a cool restoration project for someone looking for a unique amp or a sweet vintage mono hi-fi setup. Enjoy!
