Guitar players aren’t the only musicians that get to play a Black Beauty! This stunning WFL Super Classic drum set is all original including the rare & classy black wrap. It’s a “no-excuses” heirloom grade outfit that was looked after meticulously by the original owner who always stored them in cases when not in use. There are no cosmetic blemishes to speak of, no splits in the wrap, all the seams are flat & tight & all of the hardware is original, fully functional & chrome plated (chrome was a pretty fancy upgrade in 1956 as many sets were nickel plated then). The sizes are 14”x22”, 9”x13” & 16”x16” and are all date stamped Dec 19 1956. The original owner of this set purchased it with the transition badge (1959) Ludwig Model No. 905P 3”x13” Jazz Combo snare drum in matching original & gorgeous black wrap. Black wrap WFL / Ludwig sets are quite scarce, & all original examples in this condition even more so. It even proudly wears the original front calf skin head that looks & sounds magnificent!
