For your kind consideration vintage transition era Ludwig 5x14 Pioneer snare drum from the late 1950s. It sports a beautiful blue and brass Trans badge and is in fair condition aside from some cosmetic imperfections on the shell from foam residue. It has the original P-85 "Large Pioneer" 3-hole strainer with the hex knob that operates smoothly. The bottom hoop is an original nickel over brass and the top is a replacement nickel over steel. The edges are original and true. Most importantly, this drum tunes up like a dream and is a joy to play. Enjoy!
