For your viewing pleasure is this killer rare Rickenbacker speaker cabinet with original Jensen P15 15" speaker, date coded from the 19th week of 1960. The cabinet and speaker are in excellent condition, both cosmetically and functionally. We tested it with a 1965 Fender Showman black face head (which Fender originally offered with their own 1x15" cab), and the unit performed with flying colors. The speaker sounded as full, tight, and resilient as any of the best sounding vintage Jensen P-15 loaded cabs we've heard, and showed not the slightest sign of being tired in any way. The grill cloth is in excellent condition, as is the gray tolex. We believe this to be quite a rare piece of gear. In researching it, we could find no information at all. One can see that it bears a striking resemblance to the late '50s/early '60s Rickenbacker M-15, which is a 35 watt 1x15" combo amp produced in the '50s and early '60s. We believe this unit was designed for use as either an M-15 extension cab, or for use with any of Rickenbacker's stand-alone amp heads of the time. This is a truly a great sounding guitar cab that would equally be at home amongst the finest of collections, recording studios, or stages.
