1960s Whitehall 5.5x14 Steel Snare Drum 10 Lug Made in Japan MIJ Pearl

For your kind consideration is this vintage Whitehall 5.5x14 Steel snare drum. It's in very good condition and sounds awesome. Whitehall was one of the stencil names used by Pearl when importing drums became popular in the 60s. This drum has the black and gold badge that dates this to the 1960s. The beaded heavy steel shell has aged well with no pitting and just one spot with a small dent as shown. The chrome on the hoops and lugs is in great condition. The Pearl S-013 style strainer is fully functional as is the adjustable butt plate and the internal tone control. This is a great sounding vintage steel snare for the money and it would be equally at home onstage or in the studio. Enjoy!
