For your kind consideration is this vintage Gretsch 4105 Dixieland 5.5x14 snare drum shell. This shell is slightly undersized measuring just over 5-1/4" deep which we have seen on Dixieland models and various other Gretsch and American made snares of this era. The original edges are in great condition. The White Marine Pearl wrap has a few small splits and seam lift as shown with the original round badge firmly attached. The key holder and muffler has been removed and there are extra holes where a P-85 strainer and butt plate were previously installed. Modern heads fit every so snugly as expected. If you've been thinking about a 1960s Gretsch 6-lug snare project, this is the shell for you. Enjoy!
