For your prime viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig 14x14 Downbeat floor tom from the late '60s. This drum is in well taken care of condition and the Sky Blue Pearl wrap is beautiful with a flat, tight seam. Slight micro-pitting on the hardware, and oxidation on the hoop shown in pics. The shell is 3-ply mahogany with re-rings and a white interior. The keystone badge is nice and tight with a serial number of 562XXX dating it to late 1967. All original aside from the heads and correct Ludwig spring loaded leg brackets which date to a year or two after this drum was made. Vertical scratch on floor tom shown in pics. There are no extra holes or modifications and the bearing edges are true and original. The baseball bat muffler is present and operates smoothly. Most importantly it tunes up easily and sounds fantastic. This would make a great addition to your '60s Ludwig outfit. Enjoy!
