For your kind consideration is this vintage Ludwig 5x14 Supraphonic snare drum from 1965. This drum is in very good condition with some slight oxidation and pitting. This drum is all original aside for the bottom head. This mid-60s snare has a brass resonant hoop and steel batter hoop as they were transitioning between the two metals. The top hoop has some rust and a bit of chrome loss as shown. The red felt baseball bat muffler, tension rods, lugs, and wires are all originally and fully functional. The Keystone badge is nice and tight with 6 digit serial #116XXX dating it to 1965. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. It tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds absolutely incredible. If you've been looking for a 5x14 Supraphonic, this would be a great option to add to your arsenal.
