For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig 8x12 tom in Oyster Blue Pearl from the early 60s. The drum is in overall excellent condition and the wrap has minimal wear with a flat tight seam, no cracks or splits, and only a few light surface marks. There are no extra holes and the muffler has been swapped. This likely came with a Blue Note or Hollywood outfit as the mount is positioned for this to be a right side tom, or would be perfect for a lefty drummer. The pre-serial keystone badge is nice and tight. It has a 3-ply shell with white interior and the edges are original and true. The hardware is in overall great condition. It has a chrome over brass batter hoop and steel resonant hoop, both have aged well with light signs of wear. This drum tunes up wonderfully with modern heads and sounds amazing. Perfect addition to your '60s Ludwig outfit. Enjoy!
