For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig 8x12 Downbeat tom from the late 60s. The Sky Blue Pearl wrap is beautiful with a flat, tight seam. Slight micro-pitting on the hardware, shown in pics. The shell is 3-ply with re-rings and a white interior. The keystone badge is nice and tight with serial number 560XXX and an internal date stamp of DEC 18 1967. All original aside from the heads. There are no extra holes or modifications and the bearing edges are true and original aside from 2 small bumps on the bottom (resonant) side that do not affect the tuning (see pics). The baseball bat muffler is present and operates smoothly. Most importantly, it tunes up easily and sounds fantastic. This would make a great addition to your '60s Ludwig outfit. Enjoy!
