1965 Ludwig Keystone Club Date Drum Set Green Sparkle 20/12/14

For your viewing pleasure is this wonderful 1965 Ludwig Club Date outfit in rarely seen original green sparkle wrap.  There are no extra holes, the edges are true and original, and they tune up nicely and sound fantastic.  Original green sparkle drums tend to fade to an attractive shade of lime green as can be seen on these drums.  They look incredible in this shade of green, we personally love this affect, and many others do too.  Ludwig has taken notice of this and currently produces a light green sparkle called "olive sparkle" that closely emulates the shade that these drums have naturally garnered.  The wrap is in overall great condition with flat seams, the 12" tom has a couple small surface scuffs and a 1/4" ding just below the top hoop on the back side.  These are 3 ply shells with white interiors, the 12" tom is date stamped OCT 5 1965 (it may be OCT 6 1965, it is hard to tell if stamp says 5 or 6), the other two drums are not date stamped, the interior of the floor tom may have been repainted the correct shade of white, hard to tell.  The chrome is in overall nice condition with some light pin-point pitting here and there and some light rust on the bottom hoop of the floor tom, legs, and leg brackets.  Some of the tension rods are correct replacements.  These are just as fun to play as they are to look at.  Enjoy!
