For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Premier 5.5x14 Royal Ace snare drum in beautiful Blue Pearl from the 1960s. It's in overall great condition and sounds awesome. These 60s Premiers used birch shells with beech reinforcement rings and they have warm and present sound. Standard modern drum heads fit easily on this 14" shell. The Blue Pearl wrap shows minimal wear. The chrome hardware with slotted tension rods, is all original with some very light oxidation and pitting on the lugs and die cast hoops as shown. The parallel snare strainer is original and fully functional. There are no extra holes or modifications to any of the drums. This snare is ready for your collection, studio or any stage. Enjoy!
