For your prime viewing pleasure is this absolutely gorgeous vintage Rogers Holiday drum set in Pink Champagne Pearl Sparkle from the 60s, which is a glass glitter finish. This set is in terrific, well cared for collectors condition with just a small bit of tom rash as shown in the last photo. This set has 5-ply flat gray interior shells with Beavertail lugs. The edges are true and original, and there are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. The original wrap is vibrant and is by far one of the best looking Champagne Sparkles ever made. This set was ordered with the ultra cool light weight Sta-Tite floor tom legs instead of the Knobby brackets typically used on Holiday drums of this era, which aid in fast set-up and tear down, not to mention overall resonance from lower metal mass on the shell. The bass drum is equipped with factory telescoping cymbal holder. As Rogers enthusiasts are familiar with, it is common to see a little wood tearout where the holes were drilled at the factory, which this snare has a tiny bit of at the grommet hole and what looks like a small amount of flat gray touch-up paint was applied The original wires look and sound great and the Sta-Tite strainer is fully functional. This was ordered without a tone control during the mid-60s when the internal tone control was an add-on dating this to 1965-66. These all tune up like absolute champs and sound heavenly. Enjoy!
