For your premium viewing pleasure is this gorgeous vintage Rogers 5x14 Cleveland era Tower snare drum in Pink Champagne Pearl. It's in fantastic condition and is all original aside from the heads. As Rogers enthusiasts are familiar with, it is common to see a little wood tearout where the holes were drilled at the factory, which this snare has a tiny bit of at the grommet hole and what looks like a small amount of flat gray touch-up paint was applied The original wires look and sound great and the Sta-Tite strainer is fully functional. This was ordered without a tone control during the mid-60s when the internal tone control was an add-on dating this to 1965-66. There are no extra holes or modifications and the bearing edges are true and original. Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds like one of the best 1960s wood Rogers you've ever heard. Enjoy!
