For your kind consideration is this vintage Slingerland No. 162 Deluxe Student Model 5.5x14 snare drum in Red. It's in great condition and has all its original hardware and even the wires and bottom head. This 6 lug model features a 3-ply maple shell, 673A Rapid strainer which is in great condition, chrome over brass Rim Shot triple flanged hoops, and a tone control. This drum was refinished to red lacquer and there is some overspray along the bearing edge and the lacquer has age appropriate checking. Most importantly it tunes up well and sounds great. A cool 60s snare at a great price that would be equally at home in any Slingerland collection, on stage, or in the studio. Enjoy!
