For your prime viewing pleasure is this beautiful vintage Slingerland No. 9N outfit in Sparkling Blue Pearl wrap (glass glitter). Slingerland enthusiasts will know that Slingerland used several different shades of "Sparkling Blue Pearl" over the years, and in 1963 they were using their darker variant which has a deep royal blue/dark purple hue depending on the lighting and is among our favorite. The drums are all in beautiful condition with normal signs of age as shown. The wrap is in overall great condition with commonly seen light color variances under close inspection. All seams are flat and tight. The hoops are original chrome over brass stick savers and the rods have been swapped with modern replacements. The bass drum has great looking replacement hoops with era correct vintage wrap inlays that may have been transplanted from the original hoops. The push buttons for floor tom legs have been replaced with screws which is a common modification to make them a bit more reliable. The 3 ply clear maple interiors are beautiful and provide a magnificent tone. There are no extra holes and the bearing edges are true and original. Most importantly, this set tunes up wonderfully and is an absolute scream to play. Enjoy!
