For your kind consideration is this is this vintage Ludwig Pioneer 5x14 snare drum in Sparkling Blue Pearl. The shell is slightly oversized at 5-1/4" deep and aside from the heads & wires is all original and in excellent overall condition. The securely attached keystone badge shows serial #141XXX with an internal date stamp of APR 3 1965. This drum was ordered with chrome hardware and has original P-83 strainer and butt, white felt baseball bat muffler, and beautiful bow-tie lugs. All tension rods and washers are original. As is sometimes seen with these transition era snares, the top hoop is chrome over steel and the bottom is chrome over brass hoops. They are in excellent condition with very light aging as shown. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. This drums tunes up easily and sounds great. This would be a perfect addition to any collection. Enjoy!
