For your viewing pleasure is this vintage Ludwig Pioneer 5x14 snare drum in stunning Silver Sparkle from the mid 1960s. This 3-ply white interior drum is all original aside from the heads and wires and has an internal date stamp of OCT 16 1965 with serial # 236XXX on the Keystone badge. It's in great condition as shown, clean and original P-83 strainer and butt, white felt baseball bat muffler, and beautiful bow-tie lugs. The original nickel over brass hoops and hardware have aged well. There are no extra holes or modifications. It displays wonderfully and would be equally at home amongst the finest of collections, studios, or stages. It tunes up like a champ and sounds great! Enjoy!
