For your viewing pleasure is this beautiful vintage 5x14 Ludwig Supraphonic 400 snare drum from the late 60s. This drum is in excellent condition, with none of the pitting or flaking often seen on the one-piece beaded aluminum shell. It is all original aside from the heads and wires and has been well cared for. The P-83 strainer operates smoothly, as does the original white felt baseball bat muffler. The original steel hoops and 10 lugs Imperial are in great condition with minimal signs of age. The keystone badge is nice and tight with serial # 486XXX and an internal date stamp of JUN 14 1967. Most importantly, this snare tunes up like a champ and sounds terrific with all the crisp, clear projection you expect.
