For your viewing pleasure is this vintage 5x14 Ludwig Acrolite from the late 1960s. It's in great condition overall and all original aside from the heads. The keystone badge is nice and tight, with serial # 633XXX. It has an internal date stamp of AUG 6 1968. The original chrome over steel hoops are in great condition with some oxidation on the bottom hoop as shown. The original chrome P-83 strainer is beautifully clean and fully functional. The shell has some light surface scratches in one panel as shown and shows minima wear otherwise. Most importantly it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds fantastic. No serious drummer's or studio's snare drum arsenal is complete without a trusty vintage Acrolite, and this one sounds and looks particularly great. This drum would easily and equally be at home amongst the finest of stages, studios, or collections. Enjoy!
