For your prime consideration is this sweet vintage 5x14 Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum from the 70s. Aside from the heads, this drum is all original and there are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. It's is in overall great condition with a some spots of flaking and very light pitting on some of the hardware. The original P-85 strainer operates smoothly with the original wires, as does the tone control. It has beefy triple flange hoops, and the tension rods and washers are original. The pointy B&O badge has a 6 digit serial # and there is an internal date stamp of DEC 1 1970. Most importantly, this drum tunes up like a champ and sounds fantastic. This would be a fabulous sounding addition to any drummer's snare drum arsenal. Enjoy!
