For your kind consideration is this vintage Ludwig 14x22 bass drum shell. It's in good condition overall with no additional holes or modifications. There is one nick on the batter side edge as shown in the photos and two very small nicks on the resonant side. The early 1970s bass drum would have likely come from a Hollywood outfit that was drilled for the center post double tom holder. With these walnut Thermo-Gloss finishes the inside of the bass drums was stained to match the exterior. This shell will make a great foundation for your 70s Ludwig project.
