For your kind consideration is this vintage Ludwig 8x12 concert tom shell from the 70s. It features a 6-ply shell with Blue Sparkle wrap. The shell is in overall very good condition with a few extra holes as shown. The wrap has some separation at the seam that is lifting and there are a few nails that were previously added to help hold it down. Modern heads fit well on top and if you chose to add lugs to the resonant side, heads fit snugly on the bottom. This would make a great candidate for your next 1970s Ludwig restoration project.
