For your prime viewing pleasure is this excellent vintage Ludwig No. 993P Pro-Beat outfit in Butcher Block Cortex from the late 70s. This 3-ply clear maple interior set is in superb, well cared for condition with just a few light beauty marks shown in last photos. It's all original down to the hoops, tension rods, lugs, and double tom mount. The original floor tom legs have very light signs of oxidation and the rubber feet are intact with no cracks. The pointy blue & olive badges are all securely attached. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind, and the edges are true and original. The bass drum has one superficial ding on the batter edge almost not worth mentioning that does not affect the sound or tuning in any way. The 14" resonant side edge has a ding as shown in the last photo that does not affect sound or tuning. Most importantly, it tunes up with the greatest of ease and sounds beyond fantastic and bombastic. If you've been after a Butcher Block 70s Ludwig set in these rockin' sizes, you'll be hard pressed to find one that's been this well maintained. Enjoy!
