For your prime viewing pleasure is this gorgeous set of Ludwig Standards in majestic Blue Mist Sparkle. If you are reading this, then you probably know that these vintage Ludwig Standard drums are made from the same exact 3-ply shells as their Classic series siblings. This one even features factory upgraded Classic lugs instead of the low mass Standard lugs seen on the grand majority of Ludwig Standards, which Ludwig occasionally used on Standards when stock of the low mass lugs ran out. The Granitone interiors are clean and there are no extra holes or modifications. The set looks great and the wrap is in excellent overall condition with a few chips along the edges as shown in the last few photos, which can't be seen when heads and hoops are installed. All of the bearing edges are true and original with a few edge dings in the bass drum's resonant edge that were filled (this does not affect the tuning or sound in any way). What you see in the pic with bottom view of the edges on the 16" is just a black mark. The hardware shows only very light signs of age and all the mufflers are present and fully functional. Most importantly, this set tunes up like a dream and is an absolute pleasure to play and view. Enjoy!
