For your kind consideration is this vintage Slingerland 5x14 Buddy Rich Chrome Over Brass snare drum from the mid to late 1970s. First introduced in the 1976 catalog, these are an underrated power house of vintage snares with an amazing heavy brass shell which has a wonderfully warm yet commanding sonic signature. Aside from the heads, this 10-lug snare is all original and sounds fantastic. The TDR 100 snare strainer operates smoothly and in perfect condition aside from missing the "S" sticker. The factory chrome over steel hoops are in terrific condition with minimal signs of use. The original tone control looks good and is fully functional. The black and silver football badge looks great and is nice and tight, serial # 294XXX. All of the tension rods and washers are original and look great. Most importantly, this drum sounds amazing and tunes up perfectly. Enjoy!
