For your prime viewing pleasure is this vintage Sonor "Acryl" drum set from the 1970s. This was Sonor's answer to the acrylic drum craze of the time. This breathtaking set is in super clean collector's condition, cleaner than we have ever seen any clear acrylic set from any brand. Clearly, this set was very well cared for, always case kept, and has seen very little use. Something about these Sonor Acryls that we've noticed is that they seem to have a much more pure and glassy clear appearance compared to the many clear Ludwig Vistalites we have had and seen. All parts are original, original front head, all other heads are newer Evans. The floor tom muffler is missing the felt pad. There are numbers etched on the tom arm, seen in pics. If you've been on the hunt for a Sonor Acryl set, you'd be hard pressed to ever find a finer example. They tune up like a dream and have fantastic attack and projection as one would expect. Enjoy!
