For your viewing pleasure is this excellent example of a Ludwig Pioneer 5x14 snare drum in stunning blue sparkle. The three ply clear maple interior shell has the original paper tag with an internal date stamp of May 6 1971. It's in wonderfully well cared for condition and features a gorgeous pointy blue and olive badge (serial # 855XXX), original P-85 strainer and butt, original muffler, and beautiful bow-tie lugs. All tension rods and washers are original and the chrome is in good condition. There are no extra holes or modifications. It displays wonderfully and would be equally at home among the finest of collections, studios, or stages. It tunes up like a champ and sounds great! Enjoy!
