1978 Vintage MXR M-102 Dyna Comp Block Logo
1978 Vintage MXR M-102 Dyna Comp Block Logo
Condition: Vintage
For your kind consideration is this vintage MXR MX-102 Dyna Comp from the late 70s. The potentiometers date this pedal to 1978 which was one of the first years MXR used the block logo, and it still has the embossed script logo on the back bottom corner. Cosmetically, this is a road worn beauty as shown but internally it's in great condition aside from the foam degrading as is typical for gear of this age. Classic compressor sound for guitar famously used by David Gilmour and Jim Messina and heard on countless records, especially out of Nashville during the late 70s and early 80s. The Dyna Comp adds just enough body and thickness that it pairs perfect with single coil pickups, can bring out the tone of quick runs and chicken pickin', or add some rich sustain to your lead lines. If you've been wanting the classic early Dyna Comp sound, this one is sure to please. Enjoy!
