1920s-1930s Leedy Low Boy Sock Cymbal Pedal w/ 10" Ludwig Sock Hat Cymbals
1920s-1930s Leedy Low Boy Sock Cymbal Pedal w/ 10" Ludwig Sock Hat Cymbals
Condition: Vintage
For your viewing pleasure is this super cool vintage Leedy Low-Boy Sock Cymbal Pedal with Ludwig sock hat cymbals. These units were made by Walberg & Auge and offered by all the early major American drum companies including Leedy, Ludwig & Ludwig, and Slingerland. They're compact and fold for easier travel. This stand operates well and is in great condition for its age. This model has a straight pull rod, unlike the angled models offered by Ludwig at the time. The Ludwig sock cymbals measure just shy of 10" and have a strong patina with Ludwig stamp visible on both. The cymbals have some edge bends to them, but as they are thick and heavy cymbals, it does not affect their sound when played. If you've been searching for a Low Boy Sock Hats to add to your collection, they rarely become available in this kind of functional condition. Enjoy!
