For your kind consideration is this rare, almost never seen vintage Ludwig Educator drum set from the late 1970s. These were only available for a very limited time and were never shown in any Ludwig catalogs. This set is in overall great condition. The 12" tom features a 3-ply shell and the 16" floor tom and bass drum are both 4-ply. These are all original aside from the heads. This one has nickel Club Date style hardware instead of the plastic lugs seen on some Educator and Combo models and it is in excellent condition. The tom mount is a Ludwig Standard style and it also has a shell mounted cymbal holder on the bass drum. There are light signs of wear on the Maple Cortex wrap and no extra holes or modifications. Most importantly it tunes up with ease and sounds awesome. If you are a Ludwig collector, this is a really cool and extra rare one to add to your collection, and you'll surely be the only collector in your county (or probably even state) to have one. A unique and sweet sounding set with all the punch you would want from a 70s Ludwig. Enjoy!
