For your viewing pleasure is this 1970s 5x14 Ludwig Acrolite snare drum. The blue and olive badge is in good condition and is tight with seven digit serial number 1003XXX. There are no extra holes. The drum is in great structural condition, but has plenty of cosmetic wear including scratches on the shall, and someones name engraved very small next to one of the lugs on the back side opposite the badge (see pic #13). The early 12 hole P-85 strainer operates smoothly. Most importantly, it tunes up easily and sounds amazing. No serious drummer's or studio's snare drum arsenal is complete without a trusty vintage Acrolite. Enjoy!
