For your viewing pleasure is this excellent example of a 1960-61 5"x14" Ludwig Super 400 chrome over brass Supraphonic snare drum. It features a pre-serial # Keystone badge, nice chrome-over-brass hoops, small knob muffler, crimped snare bed, heavy brass shell, visible vertical shell seam, original Ludwig wires, original P-83 strainer (P-83 has a few spots of rust) and earlier heavy imperial lugs. The lugs have some light pitting, and there are a few small surface scratches here and there in the shell, as well as fine polishing scratches throughout. It displays very nicely overall. This drum still has the original Ludwig Weathermaster heads on both sides, and is 100% original in every way. It is a special drum, pure sonic bliss to play! Enjoy!
