For your kind consideration is this Ludwig & Ludwig 12x16 marching snare drum. It's in very good condition for its near 100 years of age. The avalon white pearl wrap first appeared in the 1928 catalog and was an upcharge that was half the cost of this separate tension street drum. The wrap has aged over the last century to a deep, warm yellow hue. The strainer has been replaced, a key holder was added, and there are two extra holes. The wood hoops have a bit of a waviness to them but do tune the drum well. This would also work great as a small bebop bass drum. We felt inspired and tested it and it sounds super cool with the modern Remo heads that are on it. You'd want to add a hoop mounted anchor if you go that route. Absolutely awesome drum to add to your vintage collection. Enjoy!
