For your viewing pleasure is this ultra cool and hard to find Slingerland "No. 9N Modern Jazz Outfit" in stunning original Sparkling Purple Pearl. This set is comprised of all 3 ply clear maple interior shells which are gorgeous. The chrome plating on the hardware is in good condition with light to no pitting. All of the edges are true and original, and all drums fits Remo heads easily. There is no tom rash on the bass drum, and there is no snare rash on the tom. The wrap is in all-around great condition. All of the seams are flat and tight with exception of a very light lift at the center section of one seam on the bass drum. Both mufflers are present and fully functional. Both bass drum hoops are missing inlay on the bottom half of the hoops. There is some rust and oxidation on some of the tension rods and the threaded section of some of the T's. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. This is a well preserved classic American vintage set in great desirable sizes and rare finish that tunes up beautifully and is ready to be played and enjoyed! It would be right at home in any fine collection, or studio, or on any stage! Enjoy!
