For your viewing pleasure is this beautiful 1966 Slingerland 5.5x14 Deluxe Student Model snare drum in rarely seen black sparkle. This gorgeous drum has been well cared for, and there are no splits, scratches, or scuffs. There is some pitting and rust on the hoops, and a bit of pitting on the lugs. The muffler operate smoothly, there is a slight bend in the tensioning screw on the strainer but it still operates correctly and the strainer itself also functions smoothly. There is an internal date stamp of JAN 1966. The edges are true and original. Most importantly, this drum tunes up easily and sounds fantastic! Enjoy!
