It's in great condition and has just been professionally and completely gone through, cleaned, and serviced by Stereo Rehab in Chicago (the very finest hi-fi and pro audio tech service in Chicago) with a fully transferable 1 year warranty on all work (see pic of service invoice for full list of services performed). The Tascam 122 series became the standard for cassette mastering and playback in studios, broadcast, and live applications when NBC, then ABC & CBS used them to standardize their operations.

The MKII model has a highly accurate transport with full logic IC control that offers the convenience of Memory functions including Return-to-Zero, Search-to-Cue, and block repeat. Dolby HX Pro enhances the high frequency audio performance of the 122 MkII and a full range of calibration features, including the built in oscillator with 10kHz/400Hz selectable test tones and front panel bias, ensure it will always deliver the optimum in audio for the cassette format. It features an advanced direct drive motor with dual-speed capabilities and Cobalt Amorphous heads. The 3-head design also makes the independent azimuth adjustment of the record and re-proheads possible.
