For your viewing pleasure is this gorgeous vintage Gretsch bop set in natural maple. This is a one owner born together set that was purchased by a local pro drummer. It is in great overall condition and looks and sounds fabulous. The jasper shells all have their original paper tags. All of the mufflers are present including the Pratt muffler on the bass drum. The 6x10 drum is a non-muffler drum from the factory (never drilled for mufflers). There is some honest wear and scratches on the 10" and 12" toms, see pics. The floor tom has some light surface marks, and some chrome loss on the bottom hoop. The 2 holes in the front bass drum hoop are from a factory Gretsch Cyclops bass drum anchor that was originally attached. There are no extra holes or modifications of any kind. All of the bearing edges are true and original. The tom post can be used as a single or a double since the arms are modular. One of the tom holders slides right off, making it a single tom post. It can quickly and easily be played as an 18/12/14 or an 18/10/14. It presents itself beautifully when set up, and is one of the best sounding drum sets we've ever had the privilege of playing. It tunes up with the greatest of ease and is addictive to sit behind. Enjoy!
