For your kind consideration is this cool vintage Ludwig 12x16 marching snare drum from the early 20s. This century year old drum as featured in the 1922 catalog is in overall very good condition and is ready to be restored or converted to bop bass drum. The original lugs, metal hoops, thumb screw snare strainer, butt, and badge have aged well with a good patina on them. The solid shell mahogany shell is in round and modern heads fit great and spin freely. The original calf skin heads are included with the resonant side loose from the wood frame. With some clips, rods, and gut snare wires this would be a fantastic restoration option or swap the heads and hoops and add some clip-on spurs and make this a bass drum ready to bop for decades to come. Enjoy!
